The trip to the Coin Caves is done by bus from the Fatima Bus Depot. There are two one-way schedules, at 10:30 a.m. and at 3:00 p.m., and two return options at 12.00 p.m. and 4.30 p.m.

Coin Caves
Opened to the public since 1974, the Caves of Coin are composed by 12 natural galleries, plenty with marvelous limestone formations very interesting for scientific exploration and touristic exploitation. The Caves’ visit extension is 350 meters length and 45 meters depth below the entrance point. Temperature is constant around 18ºC all year round.
For visitors there’s also an interactive, scientific and environmental Interpretation Centre (CICA GM). This Centre is a didactic, informative and scientific place where we can learn more about caves and limestone. We also have a gift shop, coffee shop and a wine section, a very pleasant regional products area and a picnic area, integrated on a natural landscape.
